Gary, a founder of Orange Energy Solutions, is also the founder of The Gemstone Group, a group of affiliated companies which develop and finance renewable energy projects. Prior to founding Gemstone in 1993, Gary worked for PNC Bank for 12 years and was Managing Director of PNC Corporate Finance. Gary also helped develop and operate two industry-leading consumer financing programs: The Keystone Home Energy Loan Program (Keystone HELP), a statewide residential loan program in Pennsylvania, and the Connecticut Solar Lease Program, the first state-sponsored residential solar lease program allowing homeowners to avoid the high upfront cost of a solar photovoltaic system for their home. Gary received a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University-Bloomington and serves on the board of several companies and non-profit organizations.
